TRU Landscape Services recently completed this Orange County Outdoor Living space in Laguna Niguel. Our customer wanted a dreamscape. The designers came up with a plan that the customer loved. The whole backyard was totally renovated. Starting with a new swimming pool and spa. Then we installed all of the hardscape. We used a top cast concrete through out the backyard. Top cast concrete helps give traction to the surface. The designers proposed Synthetic turf to be used around the swimming pool. The fire pit was installed along with a BBQ island. Then our softscape crew finished up the project.

Orange County Hardscape

Our professional design staff met with the customer and laid out this beautiful backyard. Then our crew took over and built this BBQ island. On this BBQ island the designers called out for a tile from NPT . We put in a refrigerator and a few cabinets for storage as well as poured in place concrete for the countertop. Customer requested a outdoor refrigerator. All of our BBQ islands are custom made in the USA!!

Orange County Firepit

Our designers came up with this design for this firepit. The same tile that was used for the BBQ Island was also used for the firepit. We applied the poured in place top cast for that concrete finish. The firepit is Natural gas for easy lighting and the designers put in the ceramic balls for a great accent while the firepit is lit. Our Fire pits are custom made. The customer can choose from several different sizes and shapes. Along with different color caps.

TRU Landscape services was called out to update this Orange County Artificial Rocks project. The overall renovation had several different elements. We installed new concrete and a new Patio Cover. On the fireplace we did a complete face lift. Customer requested that we update the soft scape, so we installed several new plants.

Looking for Artificial Rock Painting

Artificial rock painting usually lasts 3 to 5 years before it needs refreshing. As you see here ,calcium has built up , due to the high content of calcium in the water. One of our goals was to update the rocks to give them a new look. Our Orange County Artificial Rocks specialist did a great job. We also update the pool coping.

Adding artificial rocks is a specialty of TRU Landscape services. Building rocks takes years of experience to master the trade. Rock building starts out with rebar roughly shaped into the desired shape. After the rebar is set the cavity is usually filled with concrete debris. then a burlap material is tied to the rebar. This material will have concrete applied to it. The second coat of concrete will start taking the shape of a rock. After the concrete has had time to dry the crew will start to apply the paint. Painting can take up to seven different colors to achieve the final product. This process is not a DIY project!!
