Orange County Landscape Lighting

TRU Landscape recently went out to Anaheim Hills in Orange County, California. We performed a night demo for our customers. We arrived at 7:15pm to set up the lights. After some help from our lighting salesman, we had all of the LED lights ready to go. We like to bring our light salesman with us on night demos. This way the customer can see we deal with the best light manufacture company in Orange County. We had the new LED spot lights shining up on some Queen Palms. The customer loved the light from the new LED lights. The days of that cool blue colored light is gone. The new LED burns hotter to give off the same light as the traditional incandescent lights. The great thing is they use 80 to 90% less electricity to light up the same Palm tree.

These customers had a  couple of questions about the new LED lights. One of the questions was: Are LEDs reliable? LEDs have a rated life based on the time it takes for the light out-put to decrease to 70% of the original output, which is typically about 50,000 hours or 17 years of normal residential use. Unlike an incandescent lamp, LEDs include no filament, so they do not “burn out”; they gradually decrease in their light output, beginning many years after the initial installation. This makes these lights great for those hard to install areas, like trees. TRU Landscape has installed many landscape lighting projects in Orange County.
