Garden Grove Customer Has Synthetic Turf Installed


We are installing Synthetic Turf in a back yard in Garden Grove, California. Garden Grove is a city surrounded by the city’s of Westminster, Santa Ana, and Cypress. By installing  Synthetic Turf in the back yard it eliminates a Gardener from maintaining the yard.  This makes the back yard more secured. The customer won’t have to worry about the gate being left unlocked. This also provides more privacy. Plus their saving water, fertilizer, and gas. Synthetic Grass is consider a Green Product. Synthetic Turf is Installed at Tustin Church

Tustin Synthetic Turf Job

Tru Landscape received a call this week from a church school located in Tustin, California.  They needed their playground re-landscaped.  We installed synthetic grass and concrete walkways.

Tustin California is located in Orange County California and is surrounded by the cities of Orange, Santa Ana, Tustin Ranch, and Irvine. Our customer needed a new playground that included synthetic grass (also known as synthetic turf), new deck construction, and hardscape concrete work as well. The project took approximately 10 days  to complete and came out looking great!

About Our Synthetic Turf Project

Tru Landscape showed up to the job at about 8:00 am during the week while the church is fairly quiet. We started by removing 4″ of top soil with our bobcats and hauled it away to the landfill. Next, we installed decomposed granite, achieving a 90 % compaction rate. This is important for the synthetic turf’s longevity. Next we installed a landscape fabric that is used to keep weeds out of the new synthetic turf areas.  After this we installed a plastic border that is used to hold the synthetic turf in place in high traffic areas. Next we installed a 3″ Concrete for the base that supports the landscape pavers (landscape tiles). The next process  involved us installing our pavers (landscape tiles) on top of the base concrete surface. Next we installed Trex decking for the deck portions of the project. We like to use Trex because it’s a composite material that last for a very long time.  Lastly we installed the new synthetic grass which carries an eight year manufacturer warranty. Lastly the equipment was installed and the trees were planted.  Lastly, we cleaned all of the project areas.

Synthetic Turf Orange County

TRU Landscape went out to a Town home today in Orange County, California for a estimate on Synthetic Turf. When arriving, our customer stated that there was no back yard access. We told them it was no problem. We have installed many Synthetic Turf  jobs by working threw the house. It takes a little longer to perform our job, But it can be done. This Synthetic Grass turned out to be a Putting green. A back yard that has no accesses is a perfect application for a Putting Green. Putting Greens are easy maintenance.Putting Green Install

Many people do not know that you can install a Synthetic Putting Green in their yards instead of regular Synthetic Grass. The price difference depends on allot of factors. Putting Greens give the serous Golfer a place to practice or a place for kids to play. When you have a Putting Green installed you should let your Contractor know what you’ll be using the Putting Green for. If the Putting Green is going to be used for kids to play on, We lower our install prices. The serous Golfers Putting Green takes longer for ball speed and different factors.
